MAINTENANCE & SECURITY ASSISTANT

Job Title: Maintenance & Security Assistant

Location: The Everly Putrajaya Hotel

Job Description:

  • Set up and configure AV equipment for all events across 22 function rooms.
  • Provide technical support to organisers for any AV-related issues during events.
  • Conduct daily AV checklists and record all equipment usage.
  • Assist event organisers and sales teams during site visits for upcoming events.
  • Set up last-minute events or accommodate last-minute changes as requested by sales or organisers.
  • Coordinate and monitor outsourced AV vendors when required.
  • Support live bands with their sound system setup and equipment configuration.
  • Conduct quarterly preventive maintenance for all AV equipment.
  • Maintain a monthly inventory record of all AV equipment and accessories.
  • Ensure all AV equipment is in proper working condition and available for use.
  • Manage weekly AV equipment rentals such as conference microphones and clip mics, especially for additional requests from the sales team.
  • Monitor and order consumable supplies including AA batteries, black tape, and other necessary items.
  • Set up and assist with webcams and online meeting equipment for organisers.
  • Respond to fire alarms and provide assistance during any technical-related emergencies during night shifts.
  • Troubleshoot kitchen equipment trips (fuse, MCB) and assist the engineering team during night shifts.
  • Assist with in-room guest requests, including delivering bottled water, replacing bedsheets, etc.
  • Assist guests with luggage handling when required.
  • Accompany and assist guests to the hospital in case of accidents within the hotel premises.

Job Specification:

  • Candidates must have at least SPM/SPVM, or hold a Certificate or Diploma in Audio Visual or other related fields.
  • Have a Ability to work on shift.
  • Possess good personality and punctuality.
  • Possess strong communication skills.
  • Must be friendly, positive, self-disciplined and willing to learn.
food & beverage assistant

Job Title: Food & Beverage Assistant

Location: The Everly Putrajaya Hotel

Job Description:

  • Handles cashiering duties for cafe/restaurant or room service orders.
  • Ensuring all billings are accurate and handling cash float.
  • Attend to guest complaints and restore guest satisfaction.
  • Serving guest’s orders accurately and promptly and ensuring that food is served according to the order, table layout is clean and appropriate with the clean and correct condiments and cutlery.
  • Displaying the menu for the day on tables and notice boards; delivering accurate and prompt room service.
  • Performs inventory count, order taking, prepare breakage report, update bill orders or status, communicate telephone messages for guests, and post bills to guest account.
  • Performs all tasks according to established controls and systems (cashiering procedures) in the restaurant while trying to reduce costs and increase sales volume.
  • Explaining menu to guests, up-selling, and presenting guests’ bills which are accurately generated.
  • Using, storing, cleaning, and maintaining equipment such as chinaware, silverware, glassware, and coffee machine according to specifications and performing all scheduled preventive maintenance activities prepared by supervisors or superiors.
  • Implementing 5s in their area of responsibility.
  • Performs any assignment as assigned or delegated by the superior and hotel manager as competently as possible and fulfilling special duties which may be assigned by management from time to time.

Job Specification:

  • Candidates must possess at least an SPM/”O” Level, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in any field.
  • Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Fully vaccinated (You will be considered fully vaccinated 14 days after your second dose.)
  • Ability to work on shift and public holidays.
  • Possess good personality and punctuality.
  • Possess strong communication skills.
  • Must be friendly, positive, self-disciplined, and willing to learn.
  • Possess good problem-solving skills, organizational skills, and multitasking abilities.

housekeeping cordinator

Job Title: Housekeeping Coordinator

Location: The Everly Putrajaya Hotel

Job Description:

  • Perform daily housekeeping functions, tasks & supervise tasks as assigned and follow established safety precautions and infection control procedures.
  • Do assigned paper works & required report day to day basis.
  • Ensure that work/cleaning schedules are followed as closely as practical.
  • Room QA checking after maids completed the room cleaning.
  • Ensure that assigned work areas are maintained in a clean, safe, comfortable, and attractive manner.
  • Inspect vacated rooms, corridors, service rooms or halls, stairs, public lavatories, lobbies, lounges and vending areas for cleanliness/order.
  • Report damages, losses and supply shortages to supervisor.
  • Receive any complaints and report to appropriate individuals for necessary action or adjustment.
  • Prepare/maintain necessary records/accounts.
  • Handle Guest concerns and react quickly, logging and notifying the proper areas.
  • Actively participate in daily briefing, daily warm up and department meetings.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies.
  • Dispose of personal protective equipment in accordance with our established sanitation procedures.
  • Ensure that an adequate supply of housekeeping supplies to perform daily tasks is maintained in utility/janitorial closets.
  • Perform other related duties, as assigned.

Job Specification:

  • Candidates must possess at least an SPM/”O” Level, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Candidate must possess at least Secondary School/SPM/”O” Level, Professional Certificate, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in any field.
  • Must have credit in English and Mathematics in SPM.
  • Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English.
  • At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Required Skill(s): Hygiene, Hardworking, Fast, Punctual, Multi-tasking.
  • Willing to work for rotational shifts basis.
  • Preferably Non-Executive specialized in General Work (Housekeeper, Coordinator) or equivalent.
